Huntington County Historical Museum

Visitors trace the history of Huntington County from prehistory, Miami Indian and French Voyageur period, Canal era and pioneer settlement to today. You’ll want to check out the Caswell Runyan cedar chests, outhouse exhibits, displays of the Wabash and Erie Canal, railroad, and new rotating exhibits that keep visitors coming back to discover what’s new and old at the Huntington County Historical Museum.

Local favorite, Nick's Kitchen, was recently featured in a Food Paradise episode on the Travel Channel network, entitled "Pork Paradises". The restaurant is known for being the birthplace of the hand-breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, an Indiana favorite! Hours are Monday - Saturday 6am - 2pm and closed Sundays.
