This is a great place to spend an afternoon shopping for gifts with a stop for lunch or book tickets for an upcoming production in our historic theater and make dinner part of the evening. Warren has a fantastic line up of annual events and festivals (mentioned below) that make you fall in love with small town life and it’ll keep you coming back for more!

Warren is located just minutes off of I-69 and a 25 minute drive south of Fort Wayne.

Eat

You will not go home hungry from Warren! There are several great options for dining right in the historic downtown area. If you are searching for home cooked goodness, check out the daily lunch specials at Kim’s Katered Affair (open M-F). Make sure you get one of her insanely great cupcakes or cookies for dessert. Take the family to East of Chicago Pizza and fill those hungry stomachs. Or play a game of pool on the “L” shaped table at the Wagon Wheel Tavern and try one of their big burgers. Looking for breakfast? Stop in at Son-Rise Bakery for their biscuits and gravy and other made from scratch items that change daily including cinnamon rolls, scones, breads, donuts and other goodies. Once your belly is full, it’s time for some shopping. Stop into the Flower Pot to pick up flowers or browse their great selection of gift items and decor. Directly across the street is Harvest Moon Scents & Primitives and D & D Bike Shop. Updating your home, then Accent Interiors can help with your custom flooring, window treatments, tile and wallpaper needs. Make sure you take the short drive on E. 1000 South to Gebhart’s Floral Barn. They are a full service florist and have a great selection of hand-made pottery and gift items. Warren is well-known for the Pulse Opera House, located downtown, this theater was built in 1884 and has been delighting regional patrons with its melodramas, comedies and musicals – sorry, no operas! Come early and spend some time downtown before the show. Warren has a full season of annual events including Salamonie Summer Festival in July, Scarecrow Festival in October and Winter Warrenland and Holiday Tree Walk in December.
