DESCRIPTION:Huntington County (IN) Veteran Service Office is encouraging all veterans and patriotic citizens to place an entry in the 11th Annual Veterans Day Parade which will be held Saturday\, November 11th beginning at 10 a.m.  The parade route this year will be MacGahan St. to N. Jefferson St. to West Park Drive to Memorial Park\, for a brief ceremony. In the event of inclement weather and the parade is canceled on Saturday\, the parade will not be rescheduled but there will be a ceremony on Sunday\, November 12th at Memorial Park beginning at 2:00 pm. A note to participants: The parade staging will take place at 9 a.m. at the Huntington North High School east parking lot. Parade participants will enter HNHS at the MacGahan St. entrance\, check in at registration and then proceed to the assigned entry number that will be marked on the ground. See parade route above. To register\, just call 260-358-4863 or stop by the Veterans Service Office\, 1350 S. Jefferson St.\, Huntington between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.\, Monday thru Friday.
