DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Canoe Day with a float on Salamonie River\, June 29. Participants may bring their own watercraft or may reserve a canoe at the time of registration. All experience levels welcome. - Meet at Salamonie Lake’s interpretive center at 9:30 a.m. - *Advance registration is appreciated\, call 260-468-2127. - Cost is $5 per person and includes lunch. - Personal flotation devices (PFD/life jackets) must always be worn by watercraft occupants while on the water. If a PDF is needed\, most sizes are available to borrow\, please note during registration. **Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.** Participants should bring bottled water\, sunscreen\, bug spray\, snacks\, etc. For more information\, contact Upper Wabash Interpretive Services\, 260-468-2127.
