DESCRIPTION:The Huntington Parks and Rec Department will host Free Movie in the Park: "McFarland\, USA" on August 26\, in Memorial Park Sunken Gardens starting around 8 p.m.  The movie follows novice runners from their home town McFarland\, an economically challenged city in California\, as they give their all to build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner)\, a newcomer to their predominantly Latino high school\, with whom they ultimately bond to build not only a championship cross-country team but an enduring legacy as well. The movie is free - just bring your blanket and favorite snacks!  Rusty's Chicken Food Truck will be on hand with food for purchase. ***Note: All events are subject to change including some advertised activities within an event.
