DESCRIPTION: If you are longing for a traditional Christmas celebration\, then come out to the German Christmas at the Old German School where you are invited to join in a group singing of the old traditional Christmas Carols\, listen to a reading of the Christmas Story from the Gospel of Luke in both German and English\, learn about traditional German Christmas customs\, and hear Missy Westfall sing Stille Nacht in German. Refreshments will be served. This event is free to attend. The Old German School was a part of a large German settlement which once existed in the area around the Wabash-Huntington County Line and is located at the intersection of West Maple Grove Road and the Huntington-Wabash County Line Road\, 3 miles north of US 24 West.
