DESCRIPTION:The Annual HARTA Frigid Encounter will take place on New Year’s Day. After a group photo they will depart from Schenkel Station\, 11 W. State St.\, Huntington\, IN\, at 2:00 p.m. This is a free walk/run/bike event along the trails in Huntington. Plan on returning to Schenkel Station around 3:00 p.m. to enjoy the warmth and a little Hot Chocolate to celebrate the accomplishment. Prepare for the weather and come out to join like-minded individuals as they begin working on their New Year’s Resolutions. **Helmets are required for all bike riders.** ***A note from the Visitor Bureau: All events are subject to change including some advertised activities within an event.
