Freedom on Main Kicks Off the Celebration – July 2

The festivities begin Thursday evening with Freedom on Main, featuring the world-renowned Fort Wayne Philharmonic's Patriotic Pops Concert in the heart of downtown Roanoke.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m., food trucks will line Main Street offering plenty of delicious options before the orchestra takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening filled with patriotic favorites performed by one of Indiana's premier orchestras.

The free community event will also feature special appearances by the Concordia ROTC Color Guard and honored veterans, making it a meaningful way to begin Independence Day celebrations while honoring those who have served our country.

Reserved tables with priority seating are available for purchase, but general admission is completely free with open lawn seating.


Uncork the 250th at Two-EE's Winery Friday July 3rd

For those looking for an unforgettable fireworks experience, Two-EE's Winery is hosting Uncork the 250th, a ticketed celebration benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana and the Indiana Canine Assistant Network.

The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with local vendors, shopping, and food trucks including:

  • Tacos Rancheros
  • JB's Cuisine
  • Head2Hock

Live music from JacksonVibe will entertain guests from 6:00–9:00 p.m., followed by a patriotic countdown to one of the area's largest fireworks displays.

The evening schedule includes:

  • Vendor shopping and food trucks beginning at 5:00 p.m.
  • Live entertainment from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
  • Last call at 9:15 p.m.
  • National Anthem at 9:55 p.m.
  • Fireworks at sundown
  • Winery closes at 10:30 p.m.

This celebration combines great food, local wine, live entertainment, and spectacular fireworks while supporting two outstanding nonprofit organizations.

Tickets are required for admission.



Fireworks & Family Fun Day – Saturday, July 4

The celebration continues on Independence Day with Roanoke's annual Fireworks & Family Fun Day in the park.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m., families can enjoy an evening packed with community activities including:

  • Kids games
  • Food vendors
  • Live DJ
  • Fire department hose-down
  • Family activities throughout the evening

As the sun sets, everyone will gather for the annual community fireworks display, providing the perfect finale to a day of celebrating America's birthday with friends, neighbors, and family.
