Some of the best times to visit our communities is during one of our amazing festivals and special events. Whether you are planning your trip specifically to attend one of our events or are checking to see what's going on while you're here, you'll LOVE celebrating with us in Huntington County!
Eagle Watch at Salamonie Lake (DNR) is something to see each February! During Jan/Feb of each year, eagles migrate to open water as a food source. The Upper Wabash Interpretive Services take you on a caravan to the best places for scouting eagles. Multi-day event and registration required.
Huntington Heritage Days is held in mid-June of every year and celebrates the history and culture of the City of Huntington. Enjoy the carnival, car shows, hot air balloon events and plenty of community events and fun.
JeFFFest is always held the last day of Huntington Heritage Days and the three F's stand for "FUN FOOD, FINE ART, and FAB MUSIC!" Enjoy live entertainment while bidding on artwork created by locals of all ages and skill. Purchase tickets to sample food from area businesses and organizations.

Salamonie Summer Festival in Warren has been amping up the Fourth of July Weekend for over 50 years and we gotta tell you, this "Small Town with a Big Heart" knows how to party! Parades, concerts, antique tractor/engine show, food, games, water ball, flea market, tractor pull, bingo and some of the best fireworks around.
Our kids work hard to prepare every year for the Huntington County 4-H Fair. Held in August, the fair is a must-do. Come out to see the livestock, projects and don't leave without sampling some of that delicious fair food (tip: try the milkshakes)!

Car lovers flock to Rolling into Roanoke, a one day car show held in late July each year. Classic and collector cars line the streets and the park of this small town with a featured car selected each year. Live music, vendors, shopping, food and plenty of activities make this car show a sell-out and an area favorite.
Splash on the Wabash is held in Huntington each year at the Forks of the Wabash Historic Park. Hundreds of participants take a 90 minute lazy river inner tube ride down the scenic Wabash River. Great fun for anyone aged 8+.

Fall can't come soon enough each year as we wait for the annual Roanoke Fall Festival. This multi-day festival is Huntington County's oldest running event, nearly 70 years! Parades, fair food, rides, games, activities, live music, demolition derby and tractor pull make this an action-packed weekend each September.
The Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival, held the third weekend each September, allows attendees to travel back in time with re-enactments, encampments, vendors, hand-crafted items, foods, entertainment, antique engines, antiques and more! Did we mention the food?

A Renaissance in Roanoke Juried Show and Handcraft Marketplace is a one-day event every October with a juried art show, the Plein Air Paint Out competition, a juried Handcrafted Marketplace, children’s Plein Air competition, Fall Farmers’ Market and live entertainment. It's all held downtown where you can enjoy Roanoke's many charming shops, galleries and restaurants!

A Renaissance in Roanoke
Art Exhibit "The Hood" by Artist Tashema Davis
Artist Tashema Davis presents her art exhibit "The Hood" Reframing the Perspective of Today's Black Man at the Arts Included Gallery at the Huntington Arts & Entrepreneurial Center. The exhibit will run through September 30 during the gallery's normal hours. Free Admission.
Sherlock Holmes: The Baker Street Irregulars, live production at the Pulse Opera House
Performance dates for the live production of Sherlock Holmes: The Baker Street Irregulars are September 22, 23, 24 and 29, 30 & October 1, with Friday shows at 8 p.m., two shows on Saturdays at
4 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. and one show on Sundays at 4 p.m.
Horse Riders Reunion at Salamonie Lake is saddling up at Lost Bridge West Horseman’s Campground. Bring your own horses and a silent auction item to help the fundraiser, Power the Camp. While bringing a horse is not mandatory to attend the event, horse enthusiasts are invited to bring their horses to camp the weekend or enjoy a day ride. There are no horse rentals at Salamonie Lake.
Indiana’s Free Fishing Days are designed for Indiana residents to fish the state’s public waters for free. A fishing license is not needed. Gate fees apply.

Relive the mid-1800s. Encampment, military drills, Pioneer Village, Olde Town, farmers’ market, antiques, crafts, Youngn’s Fun area with pioneer games and activities for kids, a variety of live entertainment, strolling characters and musicians, tasty food and more!
2nd Annual Stein Streak! There will be market vendors, a 2, 4, or 6 mile fun run, food vendors and beer, Oktoberfest-style, and live music. Its family-friendly fun right on Main Street September 23rd from 3-8 p.m.

The Huntington Farmers' Market 2023 is now located at the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 1000 Flaxmill Rd., Huntington, IN 46750, and open Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m.

Huntington Tails & Trails Festival with Halloween fun!
Huntington Tails & Trails Festival, where there is something for everyone, including man's best friend! Huntington Tails & Trails will feature a 5K and 1 Mile Dog Walk. Those who sign up for the race before September 23 are guaranteed a race shirt. Each doggie participant will receive a doggie goodie bag. Halloween Event from 1 - 3 p.m.
