Located in the heart of downtown Huntington, the Huntington City-Township Public Library serves the city of Huntington, Huntington Township and the town of Markle in Indiana with over 160,000 books, movies, music CDs, audiobooks, video games, events, workshops, public computers and more. Both the Huntington and Markle Libraries have meeting and study rooms available for use by patrons, area residents, and local groups at no charge. Some of the meeting room features include ceiling-mounted projectors, surround sound, a full kitchen, tables and chairs, and more.

A library card is not required for the use of the study rooms, but is necessary to book any of the meeting rooms. (can be waived by director)

Meeting Rooms available:
-Huntington North Meeting Room (max occupancy: 50)
-Huntington South Meeting Room (max occupancy: 40)
-Huntington Board Room (max occupancy: 16)
-Markle Meeting Room (max occupancy: 25)

The meeting and study rooms may be used for business or club meetings, staff training, private parties or gatherings (North and South Meeting Rooms only), and individual or group study or work. Any commercial or for-profit event, regular business hours or client meetings, and supervised visits or meetings with social workers are prohibited in these rooms.
