Featuring two softball diamonds, two pavilions, a picnic area, basketball and tennis courts, disk golf and the ever-popular Markle Park Swimming Pool. The park is a treasured part of the community. The pavilions and Scout Cabin are available for rentals.

Markle Park Swimming Pool is open seasonally and contrary to it's name, the swimming area is a stone quarry. The story of Markle Swimming Pool began in 1921 when the quarrying of limestone was discontinued at what was then known as the Markle Quarry. The quarry, located south of downtown Markle next to the Wabash River, was filled with water and soon became a popular swimming place for area children. That tradition lives today and the popular "Markle Pool" boasts a sandy beach, large slides, diving board, concession stand and lifeguard on duty. There is a charge for admission. No outside food or drinks allowed.
