Welcome to Salamonie Lake DNR and Salamonie River State Forest. Visitors can enjoy camping (both primitive and modern), boating, fishing, mountain biking, swimming, hiking and picnicking. There are even bridle trails for horses, cross-country ski trails, and snowmobile trails on the state property. Explore their many trails including their 13 mile Bloodroot Trail. Salamonie is also an excellent place for bird watching.

The Upper Wabash Interpretive Services Center offers programs, activities and workshops all season so check their schedule when planning your visit.
