The Senior Monday Luncheon will be held at noon, Aug. 5, at noon at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend.
Chad Williams will present on his hobby of more than 30 years, Carnivorous Plants. He spends most of his free time tending to his plants alongside his son, Evan, who also enjoys growing these fascinating plants. The only thing Chad enjoys more than growing these plants is talking to others about them.
Carnivorous plants will be available for purchase after the presentation.
The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their own table service. The main dish of pulled pork will be provided by Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services.
*Reservations may be made by calling 260-468-2127. Seating is limited. A donation will be accepted to help defray costs.
