Shopping and Dining • Hot Cocoa and Candy Canes • Marshmallow Roasting • Lighted Parade • Holiday Photo Booth • Grinch & Cindy Lou • Santa and Mrs. Claus • Tree Lighting • Gingerbread Event and more!
On Friday evening, enjoy shopping and dining, hot cocoa and candy canes, hot dogs and popcorn, a holiday photo booth, a Gingerbread Event* at the Roanoke Historical Museum, Rudolf the Reindeer petting and photos, while you wait for the Lighted Parade on Main Street to begin at 7 p.m.! After the parade, head to Zent Commons where kids can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy Christmas carols and more!
(Letters to Santa Forms will be available at Snickle & Fritz (126 N. Main Street) mid November for children to fill out and bring to Santa after the parade!)
On Saturday, enjoy Sweets with Santa from 8:30 to 10:30 am at Roanoke Community Church (148 3rd St ), local shopping and dining while you stroll our decorated streets.

*Show off your creativity by entering our 1st Annual Gingerbread Event! View Flyer here. All entries will be on display at the museum starting the night of Christmas in the Village (Friday December 1st), and then Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 11am to 2pm for the following 2 weeks. There will be judging categories along with a "People's Choice" penny voting winner. You may pick up your entry on Saturday, December 16th from 2 pm to 4 pm or by appt.
