The 16th Annual Eagle Watch will be offered on three different Saturdays: February 4, 11, 18, 2023, 3:00 p.m. to dusk.
Prepare for an AWESOME EAGLE ADVENTURE. Sign up early to secure your space at this year's Eagle Watch at Salamonie Lake (see dates/details below). The birds migrate to open water during January/February making this area a key location for spotting eagles. The Upper Wabash Interpretive Services will guide you to good locations for scouting eagles with a stop along the way for a program, bonfire and treats (hotdogs and smores- free will donation). This is a popular annual activity so pre-registration is required. Sign up for one of three Saturdays in February (4, 11, 18); program runs 3 p.m. to dusk.
*Advanced registration is required! To register and choose a date, call the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services (UWIS) at 260-468-2127.
