Local resident Chuck Homier will offer an insider's account of his involvement with the Greatest Spectacle in Racing - the Indianapolis 500 - with his presentation "The 200-Mile-an-Hour Billboard," 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17th at the Huntington County Historical Museum, 315 Court St., Huntington, IN.
Homier became an Indy car sponsor - and pit crew member - in five Memorial Day classics when his company, Homier Tools, sponsored entries for driver Johnny Unser at Indianapolis from 1996 through 2000.
The program is free to Historical Society members, and $3 for non-members. Light refreshments will be provided.
The ending time for this event is approximate.
