Huntington Tails & Trails Festival, where there is something for everyone, including man's best friend! The event will be held at Evergreen Park on Saturday, October 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 5K and 1 Mile Dog Walk - Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.
- Live music with Garry Jones 12:30-4
- Food Trucks 11-4
- Market Shops -over 40 vendors! Enjoy from 11-4
- Scavenger Hunt
- Dog Lure course 12:30-4
- Dog Group Demonstrations
- Trunk N Treat 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
- Costume Parade & Contest for Humans & their Four-Legged companions. Judging categories: Most Creative, Funniest, and group/look-a-like (Dog Friendly.) 3 p.m.
The event is hosted by HARTA (Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association) & the Huntington County Humane Society. Proceeds from event registrations and sponsors will go toward supporting the upcoming Erie trail expansion, trail amenities, trail signage, lifesaving medical care, spays, and neuters for the shelter animals.
