Kayak and Canoe Float on Salamonie Lake, Saturday, August 17 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Participants may bring their own kayak or canoe. For those needing a canoe, a limited number of canoes are available for use during advance registration. All experience levels welcome. Meet at Salamonie Lake’s interpretive center at 9:30 a.m. *Advance registration is appreciated, call 260-468-2127. The cost is $5 per person and includes lunch.
Personal flotation devices (PFD/life jackets) must always be worn by watercraft occupants while on the water. If a PFD is needed, most sizes are available to borrow, please note during registration. Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants should bring bottled water, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, etc.
