Enjoy the outdoors with the Huntington Public Library this summer! Learn about Gene Stratton-Porter at their Limberlost movie night Thursday, June 27.
"Adventure Begins at Your Library" is the summer library program theme this year, so they are celebrating the great outdoors with themed programming. One of the most famous Hoosier naturalists is Gene Stratton-Porter, whose legacy lives on today in the Limberlost Society.
So stop in for a 'Girl of the Limberlost' movie night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 27*. You’ll hear from Randy Lehman, former director of the Limberlost site and long-time member of the Society, then enjoy the 1990 film (and popcorn, of course!)
*The ending time for this event is approximate.
