The Senior Monday Luncheon will be held at noon, March 3 at the Salamonie Lake Interpretive Center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA. Anyone age 50 or older is welcome to attend.
Bryan Banister will present “Collective Memories of Salamonie Lake’s Lost Towns.” The slideshow will feature information about the three former towns along Salamonie River that were removed during dam construction. Bryan’s family has owned property west of New Holland for 160 years and counting.
The program begins with a carry-in meal at noon. Guests should bring a side dish to share, a beverage, and their table service. The main dish, sloppy joe, will be provided by Friends of Upper Wabash Interpretive Services. A donation will be accepted to help defray costs.
