This is the perfect workshop to challenge yourself and learn tree and bush ID without leaves.
Join us at Salamonie Lake’s interpretive / nature center, located in Lost Bridge West SRA, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. for an indoor informational presentation and a tree and shrub ID walk. The workshop is expected to last approximately three hours.
Wyatt, an advanced Indiana Master Naturalist and Huntington County native, is passionate about native plants and sharing his knowledge with others. He has worked in greenhouses and operates a native plant landscaping business. - Dress for the weather; much of the time will be spent outside along trails.
- Cost is $5 per person, payable by cash or check made out to Friends of UWIS, day of workshop. - Advance registration is requested by calling 260-468-2127.
