Roaonoke Fall Festival
Sept. 7-9, 2023
The longest running festival in Huntington County, the Roanoke Fall Festival is coming up on September 7-9. Enjoy parades, carnival games and rides, fun contests, pageants, free concerts and plenty of fair food. Enter the Cake and Cookie Competition or the Pie Eating Contest. Get your tickets for the demolition derby and tractor pull - both popular events during the action-packed weekend. Check out the rodeo sponsored by the Roanoke Volunteer Fire Department on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival
Sept. 23-24, 2023
Journey back in time to the mid-1800's at the Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival coming up on Saturday, September 23, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 24, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Huntington County Fair Grounds (631 E. Taylor Street) in Huntington. There'll be plenty of food options like kettle corn, tenderloins, pretzels, pulled pork and tons more! Shop for crafts and handmade items and antiques. Enjoy live music, encampment, military drills, antique engines and tractor display, and roving entertainment. The kids will love the pioneer games and activities like candle dipping! Admission: $5 adults and $1 children. Free parking.
A Renaissance in Roanoke: Juried Art Fair and Handmade Market

Stroll the charming streets of Downtown Roanoke on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at this outdoor juried art fair and handmade market featuring original works by local and regional artists. You'll find paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery and more. The event features demonstrations, live entertainment by Joe Justice, student exhibitions, and Fall Farmers Market. During the event make sure you explore the many downtown boutiques and galleries and restaurants. Stop by the food court with food truck options.
Calling all artists!! Enter their plein-air paint out competition that takes place during the art fair. Paint the lovely downtown streetscapes for a chance to win up to $250. Also, you may sell your artwork during the event after the competition. There will also be a children's plein-air paint out competition.
Warren Scarecrow Festival

This IS the night for costumed fun in Downtown Warren. Join in on the costume parade and all the games and activities from organizations and businesses with candy and prizes. New this year are hayrides and a scavenger hunt! Come check out all the scarecrows located throughout town and sample the chili from the chili cookoff. It's a night of Halloween fun and an annual tradition!
