Pet-Friendly Options in Huntington County
Traveling with your canine can sometimes be a challenge but we're here to help out. Here's a few places in the area that are pet-friendly. Please remember to always keep your pet on a leash and clean up after them.
Two-EE's Winery
Pets are allowed in the grassy lawn with a leash. Might we suggest a slushy while hanging out on the lawn.
Area Trails
Spend some quality dog walking time on one of our area trails. Some of our favorites are the Forks of the Wabash Trail and Evergreen Park (shown). If you are more adventurous, you may consider a hike in Pehkokia Woods. Make sure you keep your pet on a leash.
Salamonie Lake
With so many things to do at Salamonie Lake, your pup is going to be worn out from all the fun. Enjoy camping, hiking, boating, fishing and other state park amenities. Please follow all DNR rules including keeping your dog on a leash and picking up after them.
B&K Rootbeer Stand
Roll up to one of their parking spots or have a seat in the picnic table area that is dog-friendly. We can't guarantee that there won't be some begging when the coneys are delivered to your car or table.
The Copper Still
Looking for places with a pet-friendly patio? The Copper Still in Roanoke has the perfect pet-friendly patio to enjoy the weather, sip on a cocktail and munch on some charcuterie.
Discover Timber Lake
Head out on a family camping adventure with your fur babies in tow. Most breeds allowed except mix or full breed pit bulls, rottweilers, doberman pinschers. Pets are not allowed in the bathrooms, showers, playground sand, beach or swimming pond.
