Three times a year our “mini-museum” is open to the public. Step back in time - listen to the pump organ, look at the artifacts, and experience what it was like to be a German settler through our storytellers.

You're invited to a “Celebration of Fall” at the Old German School on Sunday, November 2nd at 7 p.m.Traditional hymns will be sung and music will be provided by Oldies but Goodies, formerly the Sharp Creek Singers. Poetry written by James Whitcomb Riley will be read. The Legend of Hanging Rock will be shared.About the Old German School - The school was constructed in 1887 by members of the St. Paul’s German Evangelical Church to provide religious instruction in the German language. It has been restored and now contains exhibits that interpret the history of the large German settlement that once existed in the area.The school is located at 3995N-1000W or 3 miles north of US 24 on Wabash-Huntington County Line Road.
