Mark your calendar for Huntington Heritage Days - June 12-16, 2024. Downtown Huntington, IN and Huntington North High School.
This year’s Huntington Heritage Days theme is: “Chamber of Commerce of Huntington County - Celebrating 100 Years” recognizing the Chamber’s 100 years of service to the community.
Highlights:
Poor Jack Amusements will provide the midway and carnival rides for this year’s Huntington Heritage Days and will be located in the Cherry Street area from Wednesday, June 12 through Sunday.
Thursday, June 13 events will include the Chief of the Flint Springs Tribe Breakfast in the morning, and the annual Rotary Strawberry Feed in the evening.
Quilt Show, - now three days! Friday & Saturday June 14 & 15 from 10 to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Huntington County Historical Museum.
The MetroNet Car, Truck, Bike and Motorcycle Show will take place on Friday evening, June 14 in downtown Huntington from 5 to 9 p.m. 4 to
Brat Tent, 4 to 10 p.m. Wise Guys Downtown on Friday and Saturday June 14 & 15 in the parking lot behind Wise Guys between Washington & Market St. Live music!
The annual Huntington Heritage Days Parade will take place Saturday, June 15 beginning at 10 a.m. and will step off at Huntington North High School and proceed down N. Jefferson through the downtown. Deadline to enter the parade is May 31.
Saturday afternoon, June 15 following the parade will feature family-friendly events and the Hot Air Balloon Fest all taking place at Huntington North High School including: The Huntington County Disaster Team’s 19th Annual Car & Truck Show from 3 to 7 p.m., Kids Zone, offering children’s activities including bounce houses, free pony rides, games provided by the Huntington City-Township Public Library and more from 5 to 8 p.m., and The Hot Air Balloon Festival and Balloon Glow from 5 to 10 p.m.
On Sunday evening June 16, come down Franklin Street across from the Courthouse and experience JeFFFest a festival of (Food, Fine Art, and Fab Music) at the close of Heritage Days on Franklin Street, with live music, delicious treats for purchase from local food vendors, and an art auction benefiting the Arts. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
