Indiana’s Free Fishing Day, Sunday May 7.
Indiana’s Free Fishing Days are designed for Indiana residents to fish the state’s public waters for free. On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state's public waters. All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply. It’s a great opportunity to introduce youth and friends to the outdoors and to the long-honored tradition of fishing.
Entrance gate fees are $7 per in-state vehicle; $9 per out-of-state vehicle. Annual entrance passes are also available for purchase at the gate and property offices.
