On April 8th, a total solar eclipse will cross North America. Huntington, Indiana will see a 90% totality! This event is RARE! The next one will not take place in North America until 2044!
The Huntington Parks & Rec Dept. wants to help you celebrate this year's eclipse by having a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk the day before the Eclipse.
This event will take place at Evergreen Park on Sunday, April 7th at 3:00 p.m. *THIS IS NOT A VIEWING EVENT - It is an event to get people excited for the actual event on the following day.
With your registration, you will also get an awesome t-shirt to remember this significant part of history in Huntington! Deadline to sign up to guarantee a shirt is March 22, 2024.**
Shirts will only come in adult sixes - Adult extra small to adult 2XL. Other goodies will be available as well!

Kona Ice will also be there! Depending on the weather, they will have their Kona Ice truck or Hot Chocolate Truck!!
