Huntington County - Northeast Indiana's Gateway to the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse
Make plans now to join us here in Huntington County for the April 8, 2024 eclipse. We are located in Northeast Indiana just southwest of Fort Wayne/Allen County right on the edge of the path of totality and conveniently located near major roadways including I-69, US 24 for an easy-in, easy-out viewing experience. The state is expecting major delays across central Indiana immediately following the eclipse so avoid the congestion and celebrate here with us.
Area residents and our eclipse visitors are invited to join us for these fun public viewing parties.
Join viewing parties in the downtowns of Markle and Warren. These are the first two exits on I-69 from the north on the path of totality. Want to stay close to nature? Camp at Salamonie Lake State Park or Roush Fish and Wildlife Property for the weekend. Come celebrate with us! Please note: Additional details and/or opportunities will be added as planning efforts continue.
